So the comments spam on my cemurphy.net galleries have gotten utterly out of control (mostly because I tend to forget about them). I don’t *really* want to delete all comments, because there are a handful of useful ones identifying people and things (and I’m not sure it can be done anyway), but I also haven’t got the time to slog through literally thousands of comments and delete most of them. I can’t figure out how to make the Gallery blacklist thing work, which would obviously help, but, well. Not smart…
HEART OF STONE excerpt
Okay, as requested in comments, an excerpt from HEART OF STONE has been posted at cemurphy.net. I’ve been fiddling with the web design over there because I’ve had people email me to say IE, mostly, I think, didn’t handle the stylesheets well. It should be better now, but if anybody has problems let me know. *looks around vaguely* I think that’s everything. :)
HOUSE OF CARDS
A few days ago I got email from my editor saying they needed front material for HOUSE OF CARDS, suggesting to me that they were, in fact, going to be publishing that book one of these days (not that there was any suggestion they wouldn’t. Banks, and boy am I…

The only two Proclaimers songs I’ve ever heard are “500 Miles” and “I’m On My Way”. Is the rest of their music that relentlessly bouncy and mood-improving to listen to? Because if it is, I should get one of their albums. Erm. Where *does* one stay if one goes to ComicCon? Is the convention centre itself a hotel, or, er, what? Is anybody going to WFC? Should we do the banquet dinner? I did it last year (and met and , which was cool), but I donno, we might want…
