Definitely sick, although I’ve got nothing on poor Jim Minz, who arrived at the Saturday awards ceremony long enough to prop himself up and look wasted and consumptive in his very nice suit and clap in a way that suggested he was trying not to expend all his energy on any one round of applause. Apparently he got a flu shot last Monday, and it worked. Poor man. Anyway, I’m only sick enough to be vaguely annoyed by it, and very tired. I ate dinner and went to bed last…
well!
Well! Guess where *I* am! I’m in *Atlanta*. Until 6:45pm tomorrow evening. -crossed eyes- The plane was 2 hours late leaving Austin. In fact, the plane didn’t even arrive in Austin until 90 minutes after it was supposed to leave. By the time we got to Atlanta, although we’d been assured we’d make our connections, it appears they’d given seats to the overbooked people on the flight, so those of us who arrived late were screwed. I’m now staying in an armpit of a Holiday Inn, compliments of Delta Airlines,…
ow.
I can’t tell if I’ve got con crud or if I’m just so tired I hurt all over. :) Yesterday was fun, if lower-key than the rest of the weekend had been. Everybody was staggering around in a zombie-like fashion, most of us having been up far too late Saturday (and some of us far too late for many more days than that). I had lunch with Tambo and some of the Luna writers, and in the afternoon met up with one of my NNWM mentees, which was a lot…
omg. so tired.
accidentally stayed up until 3am last night. SO TIRED NOW. but going to meet one of my nnwm mentees, so that should perk me up. :) i got so much to talk about i got nothin’ right now. :) i’ll post when i get home. :)
it’s what day?
It’s Sunday, isn’t it? 4700 words is not the right number to have written, by Sunday. I have some faint hope of writing tomorrow. Maybe I’ll catch up. O.O In the meantime, damn, I’m impressed with everybody chugging along. I’ve seen some awesome wordcounts. 10K! yay! -cheers you all on-! Soon, I’ll, uh, try to make it to those same sorts of glorious numbers…!
