small triumph (ww lock)

I’m down a pound, maybe a pound and a half from last week. I’m a combination of pleased and sort of moopful over that; one wishes, after all, to IMMEDIATELY OBLITERATE any weight one has put back on. But, well. At least I’m down.

My big triumph over the last week has not been staying on points, but the simple fact that I recorded them all week. Well. Up until Tuesday afternoon, at which point we ate a couple of meals out and I just don’t have the brains to figure out what those meals were worth, so I gave up on it. Still, I mostly counted points, and that probably helped me curtail some eating, anyway. I think I was averaging probably 35-40 points a day, and hey, I managed to lose a pound. Go me.

Still not going to try to hit 22 points, or even 27, for the upcoming week, I don’t think. That’s just such a major reduction in calories and I’m so unused to it at this point that I think it’d just be shooting myself in the foot. I’ll try 30-35, which would be a fairly significant step down from the last week without making me utterly miserable. And I _am_ getting some exercise in, so I’m even earning some APs toward balancing out the numbers that I’m eating at, so that’s something too.

Ooh. Maybe I’ll make myself a “Losing weight is hard. Let’s go shopping,” icon with the stuff I want to buy when I hit goal weights. :)

  1. Y’know what?

If you’re eating 30-35 POINTS a day and losing weight, then DON’T FUCK WITH IT. :) It might be that your body wants more calories in order to lose weight (and that lower throws it into starvation mode).

    Mwah! Congrats!
