Evidently I’m solar-powered. I did another 5300 words today, bringing the book up to 81K. I think it may come in a little short, but if I can get it somewhere between 95-100K I’ll be happy. The rest can be dealt with in revisions.
We are on day 10 of no sweets. I would do rash things for some ice cream. I said as much to Ted, who promptly volunteered to go get some, so he seems to be feeling the same way. But we remained strong, and now the store’s closed, so we’re safe for the evening.
It’s taken me 40 minutes to write this much blog, so I think that’s probably all I’ve got to say for the moment. :)
