somewhat curious

There are some seventy or eighty of you who have this journal friended. I’m somewhat curious as to why the half or so of you who have it friended don’t have the friended instead, since there are never actually any updates on this journal anymore (excepting the rare thing like this), and some of you have come to my friends list since this journal went defunct. I can accept the possibility that you don’t find my daily life fascinating enough to read about it, but why friend the defunct journal, then? :)

  1. I yam too lazy to remove defunct friends from my list. But I do have Mizkit_feed friended.

  2. What do you mean, befriend the feed *instead* :) One cannot have too much mizkit! Feed and journal, yes please ;)

  3. I have them both! And I occasionally check your home page version to read comments when I’m REALLY bored ;)

  4. Because some of us aren’t very clever! :) But now I have friended the feed.

  6. Since I check your journal on it’s own, I haven’t seen any reason to add the feed.

    I’ll do it if it will make you feel better though. :)

  7. *laugh* No, no, you don’t have to, I was just curious as to why there were still so many people with this lj friended, that’s all. Perhaps I’m more regular about going through and clearing out old links than most people, or something. :)

  9. I suspect that’s most of it, probably. I think I might be weirdly regular in checking through my friends lists. :)

  14. I read your main website, so I don’t need the feed. I know you don’t read my LJ, but just on the off chance that you did, and I had a friends locked entry, you would be able to see it! Also, just on the off chance that you should post something here (like this!), I will see it!

  16. Do you never log in as this one? I guess I figured this was the one needed for reading my locked posts.

  18. Yes, ditto that! Not that I make very many locked posts, but they show up now and again.

  20. I do stay logged into LJ as mizkit, yeah, so I do get to read people’s locked posts. I forgot about that aspect of the friends thingy!

    Also, I don’t have any feeds on my LJ friends list; that’s not meant as a snub to you, it’s just that I have a free account and it seems a better use of my credits to go and read your page directly.
