I have been observing with interest the “solar-powered people” phenomenon as it’s gotten lighter out earlier. Three months ago I was happy to sleep until 9am, because that was when the light arrived through the bedroom window. I started exercising about ten days ago. Ted has lost three pounds. *squinchy face* He said to me, “Keep up whatever you’re doing!” :) *laughs* *Men*. :) Uh. Research questions: what’s the Italian for sorrow? Is “prime” the Latin plural of “primus”, and is it too mortally offensive to essentially Anglicize that and turn it into “primes” for a multitude of firsts, because I suspect most readers are probably unlikely to actually go from “Primus” as a singular to “Prime” as a plural? Mom harangued me into actually getting to the needed quota today, so wordcount for January 2008 is officially 41,200. Not quite in Cherie Priest’s extremely excellent 53K for the month, but well ahead of the 1K a day minimum I set myself. (In fact, for those of you keeping track at home, I’m slightly ahead of the average 1300 words a day I’d need to make the two million mark by the end of the year…a goal which I have no intention of setting.)
