Doing the 100s Wednesday was apparently more than my shoulder could handle. I am very crankily not swimming again until Monday in an attempt to set it right, and I will not do sprints until I’m in much better condition. *sigh* I’m also going to try to mostly stay offline over the weekend, particularly off the laptop, because using it aggravates the injury. It is possible this will cause me to shrivel up and die. I’ll keep you posted. Or not, if I’m supposed to be offline… Muahah. The postman…

five things make a post
Gah. Didn’t swim this morning due to an utter failure to wake up. I’ve made up for it by doing forty minutes of combined Pilates, barre work and weights, and later I’ll go for a walk. The Janx & Daisani short story commission closes at 11:59pm Eastern tonight! If you want to be one of the first (few, only) people to read this story, scoot on over to Fundable and pledge some dollars! :) After ten days of this haircut getting progressively worse instead of at all better, I have…
Kit’s Very Busy Day
I got up at 7:something, and by 8:20 I’d showered, cleaned the kitchen, fed the cats, and made a grocery list. By half eleven I’d made pancakes, gone shopping, and gotten started on the hellish site redesign that’s going to take days if not weeks of time. All text (excepting “adorkable”) thanks to Sarah…
triumph. sort of.
I reached the part of the book where I can start putting stuff back into TRUTHSEEKER again. The place where I started to do that was, in the original manuscript, page 42. It’s page 85 now. A whole chapter went back in with almost no revisions, which was exciting. I have no idea how this whole middle section will end up working, at this point. It’ll be a little shorter, which will make my editor happy, but shortening it means the last section is going to have to be lengthened,…
best. friends. EVER.

This is always a fun thing, so I opened it quite happily, and discovered within the two Beauty and the Beast comics Wendy Pini did based on the late 1980s television show. And I thought, “AWWW,” and smiled a lot, because that was very wonderful and thoughtful of Angie, and well, she couldn’t possibly know that I already owned them. So I plunked down happily to read the note that Angie sent along with the comics…
