The cathedral featured is St Finbarr’s, and the towers there are known as…I forget what. It’s something to do with being financed by the Irish stout makers, so they’re Guinness and Beamish, or something like that. :) And it’s possible that the apse picture was taken inside there. :)

English V. English: Fight!
*laughs* So this morning I was writing and had a moment of Irish English vs. American English struggle, and commented on Twitter: I swear, the Irish phrasings that slip in. “At the weekend.” Americans don’t say that. I catch most of them while typing, but I swear. Kitsnaps: Dublinia Footbridge
Once in a while we go out and do a night shoot. This is the Dublinia footbridge, a medieval bridge that connects Christchurch (directly to the right of this photo) to, er, whatever the Dublinia building used to be. Well. I mean, it still connects it, but probably in Days Of Yore, the building across the street did not house a history-of-Dublin tourist thing. :) Ten-second exposure or so, which I had to shoot several times to get a really appealing set of vehicle lights going under the bridge. :)
