You’d think I could have SEEN a ship this size, wouldn’t you? I like how the effect here is that it and the buildings are of an exact height. Not that they were far off in actual fact, because that was in fact a big ship. So the other day when I got the Meat Loaf concert date wrong and there was nobody at the venue and I was walking around trying to find open doors, I noticed people crossing the street to watch the drawbridge being lifted over the Liffy, so I went over to watch too. Kitsnaps: Egret, Possibly Snowy

Another one where I went back and forth and back and forth trying to decide whether it should be a color or b&w photograph. Obviously I finally decided on B&W. :) Egret at Dublin Zoo! (Someone had to correct me on this, I had put it down as an ibis due to them living with the ibis…es…and I wasn’t thinking enough. Egret! Probably snowy! :))
