URSULA WON THE HUGO YAAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHH YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Ahem. After a holiday there is triage. Isn’t that how it usually works? Granted, triage was going to the zoo this morning, but it’s not like I was going to get any work done anyway, since one doesn’t with a toddler, except during nap time. :) Wonderful day for the zoo, too. housecleaning

I do not understand how I can simultaneously want to GET RID OF CRAP and yet still have such attachment to much of said crap. Ted and I both gave up cleaning at the same time, having apparently reached some level of existential despair about the entire matter. We’ve made great progress, but we’ve gone past the point where it seems like it should all be DONE NOW THANK YOU and it’s not, so: existential despair. And just to be annoying, my e-reader seems to have gone on the fritz.…

June has been equally extremely long and extremely blurred. I have had no sense of the day of the week most of the month, only a constant sense of bewilderment that it’s Not The Weekend Yet, or The Weekend Is Already Over?
