Well, I don’t know if two days completely off was just really what I needed, or if I got up this morning wearing my “quit fuckin’ around already” hat, but either way, I got 7500 words written today.
…apparently that’s really all I’ve got to say. I’m going for a walk this evening, and then I’m going to read or watch tv and probably go to bed early, since I got up earlier than usual to work.

Wow! That’s some serious wordage!
Excellent!!
Says the first-time novelist who doesn’t know shit about shit. But still.
Excellent!!
Go out and buy a milkshake.
Go you!
Kewl!
Wow, your fingers must be smoking, and I don’t mean from an ill-advised Irish milkshake.
Where’d you buy that “quit fuckin’ around already” hat? I need one, or possibly two….
First-time novelist who has FINISHED HIS FIRST BOOK! RAAAAAH!
Don’t worry about not liking the end. The end is always the worst part, for me. That’s what revisions are for. :)
It’s funny. I got up this morning after dreaming that I had skipped a chapter at the end, and now I think back to how I did it, and I think I actually did!
There are two epilogues, each of them retrospective and sort of filling in the gaps. But yeah, I think there’s at least a scene of denouement that needs to be in there.
I’ve done that. Well done to recognize it right off! :)
Yay feeling better and productive, too!
