the morning report

I am, even as I type, printing out the 89 pages of HOUSE OF CARDS manuscript I have written.

*pauses to do this, so what I’m saying is true*

Ok, there, it’s printing.

My goal today is to go through the rough, which has to be done on paper, not screen, and…fix things. Rewrite what I’ve got, add scenes, spend as much time as necessary writing notes in the margins about things I had ideas for while doing HoS revisions. I hope that at the end of the day I will have 100 pages of manuscript instead of 89. (85, with silly A4 paper.) I don’t know if I’ll manage it, but I do know I won’t if I keep sitting here reading news reports, which is what I’m doing now. :)

thinks to do today:
1. house of cards revisions
2. bring the movie to the p.o.
3. call to set up riding lesson
4. eat well

    There is nothing silly about a4 paper. It is both a rare and precious thing, it is. See . Just don’t ask about the boat anchor printer that goes with it.
    You could always just use bigger margins. :-)or is that margarine? either on probably would work.
    BTW, it seems that THE CARDINAL RULE is MIA around here. It was also a bit of stress for the Dabbler. She ran into a unhelpful customer no-service person at Borders. So once again, we have a second book in a series, with no book one to be found. Yes, I tried looking for it before. I couldn’t find it. It didn’t help that I was looking for a larger book.

  5. CARDINAL RULE is not going to be available in the bookstores. You’ll have to order it, either from the bookstore or online. The Bombshells only have a month-long shelf life, so if you don’t buy them the month they come out (CARDINAL came out last December) you won’t find them in the stores.

  6. Wow. Soy Silk stays in the store longer than that.
    Book is ordered. Did you know it is possible to have a bookstore accident without having to set foot in a bookstore?
    Your books are too expensive. :-) I beleive I have yet to buy one w/o having an ‘accident’
