Okay. Yay! I’ve run a script that closes the option to add comments to entries over 60 days old. This should throttle the spam problem I’m having, and really, if people for some reason want to comment on older entries, they can either email me or post in the current comments (possibly with a link to the entry being commented on; that’d help).
Now to go *delete* all the spam clogging up my poor site.
