I was unexpectedly in Cobh today. (I finished a job in Waterford at 12 noon instead of 5pm so got on the road to Cork early.) If I’d known I was going to be there I would have suggested coffee, but you were probably in the charity shop its being Wednesday.
Anyway, the main point is that I dropped into Harbour Books (9 Harbour Row) and got chatting to the proprietor, Ms. Sheila Comer.
We discussed things bookish and I mentioned P-Con and she mentioned Gill Alderman lived in Cobh and I said I knew a writer who had moved to Cobh and she said who and I said C.E.Murphy and she said I’d be delighted to meet her and I said I would let you know that there’s a welcome for you in Harbour Books if you ever want to drop in and say, “Hi!”

I was indeed in the charity shop, making us once more two ships passing in the night!
I’ll have to go by and meet Mrs. Sheila Comer! Thank you! :)

Yeah, it’s me. sneaked behind me and put in for the book. :)
