morning

The morning so far:

Chanti made a horrible, horrible mess of the kitchen last night. I cleaned up a lot of it this morning and then Ted finished, and mopped. She’d been outside several times, but she didn’t seem to want to go to the bathroom. Ted came in with her and said, “If you pee in the kitchen now, I’m going to beat you within an inch of your life.”

So she peed on the carpet in the corner of the living room.

In about 90 minutes, I’m going to go biking. Yesterday I did 16 miles (causing me to want to sing:

You bike sixteen miles
and what do you get?
another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter don’t you call me ’cause I can’t go!
I sold my soul to the company sto’.

which everyone is no doubt *deeply* grateful for) and today I think I’ll bike the whole coastal trail; I’ll leave my house and head up towards town, which is about a 5 mile bike ride, then come back and then go out to Kincaid, so the total should be somewhere around 24 miles. I already have bike butt. I might not be able to move tomorrow. :)

I read the X-Treme X-Men GN last night, and had X-Men dreams, and today I am really wanting to grow up to be an X-Man.

Ted and I went out to dinner last night with Shaun’s parents. *laugh* Shaun couldn’t get off work, but we had a very fine time without him! We went to Lone Star, where they’d never been, and ate a lot and laughed a lot and generally had a good time full of silliness. Shaun’s parents are *very* silly.

Next week I’m going to see Attack of the Clones with twenty other people. I haven’t done that since — er. Since Star Wars, actually. Since the re-releases of the original 3 films in 199whateveritwas. :) Cool!
