Mom suggested I call the FCC. The FCC’s phone tree told me to call my state Public Utilities Commission (Harold told me to do that yesterday. Harold was right.). My Public Utilities Commission changed its name to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska, and I’d like to know how the hell I was supposed to know that without the internet? Well, ok, I’d have eventually called the phone directory and /probably/ they’d have it listed under both names although the phone book doesn’t, but still. Fnrt.

Sucks, doesn’t it!! Unfortunately, it’s true. The other option that you have is to call a TV station & see if they want to do a story for the news. That would probably get you your phone faster than anything else.
