wow

Wow. There’s enough fog out the front window that for an instant when I glanced up, it looked like the world had gone away. It was, in fact, sufficiently foggy that I thought I should go out this morning and take photos. While I was getting dressed most of the fog went away, but I went out anyway, and judging from the return of the fog, it’s just as well, because there’s too much now for good photography unless I’m quite close to something. But in the meantime I got some terrific pictures of ducks sliding around on the iced-over canal, so keep an eye on kitsnaps/ the next few days to see those. :)

A few days ago I got the beginnings of a canker sore. In the usual fashion of a canker sore, it announced itself with a divot in my mouth and the promise of EXCRUTIATING PAIN AHAHAHA I AM CANKER SORE AND YOU WILL SUFFER MY WRATH except I’ve been eating three to five Christmas oranges a day for the past week or more and it went AHAHAHA SUFFER MY WRATH um hello? wrath? anyone? anyone? hello? what’s going on? i am defeated by THE INFLUX OF CITRUS and i am HUMILIATED in my canker sorey evil! This is definitely how canker sores should be treated. :)

It appears that the collected 5-issue Chance graphic novel will be hitting the shelves November 24, 2009. You all know what you’re getting everybody for Christmas next year now, right? :)

Oh, *man*. We got a memory foam mattress pad for our bed because the mattresses in rental units here are apparently uniformly horrible, and for the first time in months I woke up not stiff and sore. I didn’t want to get out of bed, it was so nuggly and comfy. Wow. Memory foam FTW.

‘k. Off to make my last batch of fudge for a while.
