a good day

I unexpectedly got about 4500 words written today. Finished “Don’t Wreck Your Soul” and submitted it (a mere 3 weeks late, cringe), and got probably half of the next “No Dominion” Kickstarter short story reward written. I had expected it to be a lighthearted romp (it’s called “The Christmas Hollidays”), only, er, it’s turning out to be something that Morrison is going to kill me for. Kill me dead.

I also consulted with the woman for whom the Magick 4 Terri short story is going to be written, and she gave me a framework for her story which causes me to cackle and dance with glee. It will be an Old Races story, so at some point I’m sure it’ll come to light where people get to read it. :)

*Completely* awesome photos: Natsumi Hayashi, Levitating Girl. They’re utterly beautiful pictures. They look exactly like flying in dreams feels like. Her website is here, and it makes me want to take pictures of myself flying. Except, as a conversation on Twitter agreed, it didn’t seem likely I could jump 300 times in a row to try to get the right image. Clearly I need to spend 2012 practicing jumping. One jump on the 1st. 2 on the 2nd, up to 365 on December 31st… :)

Bed now, that I might finish the short story tomorrow. *splat*

  1. Heehee, can’t wait to read a story about the Hollidays where Morrison will want to kill you. *snort*

    Wow, those pictures are AMAZING!

  2. Don’t make it a habit or anything, but given how good Don’t Wreck Your Soul is, I think the 3 weeks were worth it. :)
