I just got the COYOTE ARC in the mail. It’s pretty cool, and has the Library Journal quote on the cover instead of the Charles de Lint quote. My name’s smaller on it, and there’s no paw print or “Book 3”, and the internal fonts are different. V. interesting to my tiny mind. :)
In other news, the hamburger is still frozen, making a dinner of meatloaf somewhat difficult to produce. I may punt to frozen fish & chips, rather than go spend money at the corner store.
I have a list of things I have not done today. I’m going to go AFK and try to get at least some of them done, darn it.
ah… no butt in chair, fingers in book?
Ooooo. *Covets*
*drool*
Probably too late now, but if the meat is still all packaged up, you can put it under cold running water (or even in a sink full of cold water) and it will defrost faster. :)
This seemed the best place to leave this note.
I discovered yesterday that one of my sweeties had pre-ordered Coyote Dreams at christmastime. It arrived yesterday. I finished it around dawn this morning. I cried at the ending. Your best book yet. Thank you for that. Damn you for making me wait -how long- for the next book!? ;)
I’m afraid it’s two years until the next Walker Papers book, but *wow*, what a compliment! *turns pink all over and beams like an idiot* I’m glad you liked it, and I hope you’ll forgive me for being just a little bit unbearably smug at making you cry. I do love the end of that book, I gotta say. :)
Also, feel free to leave comments on books on whatever posting is most recent, if you want. I know it’s a little hard to find places where it doesn’t seem slightly out of the blue, but that’s okay. I like out of the blue. :)
