Mind-blowingly good news has come through for a friend, and I am *completely* over the moon about it. I don’t know when it’s going to be announced officially, but I’m pretty damned certain most people on my flist are going to be just as excited as I am. *beams* I’m not so much going “neener neener” here as I am attempting to radiate good will and good cheer at the universe in general, in case anybody needs some to pick up on. *radiate radiate radiate* Went to the gym today.…

book & haus update
The astute amongst you have noticed (I know, because you’ve mentioned it) that I rather abruptly stopped blogging about the book a while ago. The *particularly* astute amongst you may have noticed that I said I’d talk about it more when it was less depressing. It’s not especially less depressing now, but at least I’ve found my way. hot. sweaty.
Well, I’ve determined to my satisfaction that it’s not that I’m in swell condition beneath the blubber, it’s that the dance teacher isn’t working us very hard (and when I say “us” I mean “me” :)). It clearly thinks it’s Quite Hep, but…

Mint in box! Life size! One of a kind! Comes with her own “Captain’s Chair” keyboard prop! Costume includes “Night Shade Books” T-shirt and realistic “growing-out roots” in the favored RogueTM hairstyle. (Office set sold separately, terms and conditions may apply.) (We got our furniture today, and the sofa for my office came in a Very Large Box. Silliness ensued. I really want to use this for my author picture now!) We (and when I say “we” I mostly mean “Ted”) got the futon put together for the library, and…
dance class & other stuff

I don’t. :) I mean, I’m breaking a sweat in class and all, but I’m not turning red or having sweat fly off me in big fat drops, which is what I’d expect from a class that really worked me. I admitted that this was not nearly as vigorous a class as I’m used to, and the woman said I must exercise a lot.…
