competency issues

It’s really very annoying to be competent at something and to have someone on hand all the time who is /good/, to your competency. Salieri to Mozart. Er, to take it to an overblown level. small successes

I finished reading the Gambit comic book series. It was actually pretty decent, overall. They finally explained some stuff, which was good, and they did sufficient Cool Stuff with Gambit’s powers over the course of the story that I’m tempted to bring the comics along to California to make Sarah read them … except reading is all anti-social, and there will be lots of socializing to do. :) Small successes: I managed to get signed up for the beginning drawing class. First class is Tuesday night.

oh yeah! milk!

Oh yeah! I remember what the thing I couldn’t remember was! You remember that little milk-drinking problem I mentioned a few days ago? We bought milk on Wednesday night. A gallon. 24 hours later it was gone. Fortunately, Shaun *also* bought milk. :)

well, suck

Well, suck. The scanner has no compatible software for Windows fucking ME. Mutter. Curse. Swear. I was going to say something else entirely, too, and I remembered it while I was crawling around under the computer desks, but hell if I can remember what it is now….
