In celebration of the Word War room’s first anniversary, fantasy authors Laura Anne Gilman, Robin D. Owens, and myself are hosting a Q&A/chat which is starting approximately now (10am Eastern) and will go on for at least 3 hours, possibly longer. Come by and say hello! TRUTHSEEKER revealed!
Finally the TRUTHSEEKER cover has been presented to booksellers, which means I can finally post it myself! Hooray! ACROSS TWO EXTRAORDINARY WORLDS, TRUTH IS THE DEADLIEST MAGIC Though gifted with an uncanny intuition that allows her to discern when someone is lying, Lara Jansen is sure there’s nothing particularly special about her. All that changes when a handsome but mysterious man enters her quiet Boston tailor shop and reveals himself to be a prince of Faerie. What’s more, Dafydd ap Caerwynn claims that Lara is a truthseeker, a person with…
a completely inappropriate post-Easter posting
I spared the flist this comment yesterday based on it actually being Easter, but today I have no shame. obliterate’s not so bad…
I had an epiphany this morning and realized what was wrong with the book. My feeling that I had all the right pieces but they were in the wrong order was correct. Now I know how to arrange them properly. I have no idea what this is going to do to my wordcount. The word “obliterate” may come into play. I’m unexpectedly chipper about this, because although it will be a giant pain the tuckus, at least I’ll be writing the right story instead of slogging through this mess of…
