photography

I have been blessed with excellent teachers in my life, one of whom is Pat Dixon, my high school photography teacher. I’d always liked photography, but his classes were inspiring to me, as was he. As he still is, as a matter of fact. I’ve been idly working on getting prints up over at Deviant Art (though frankly if you want to buy some you should go through me and not them; it’s cheaper and, er, I get a much bigger cut… :)), and, as frequently happens when I’m working…

1217 things to do

Things are getting out of hand. Somehow about 1217 things to do have piled up and I’m having a hard time remembering them all, much less doing them. argghglt!

Arghglgg. 3600 words today, which I thought was enough, but it puts me at 149,900 words for the year! Argh! But Nook’s already shut down, so I guess I’ll just have to break 150K first thing tomorrow and carry on. I did pass the 2/3rds mark, which is nice. And broke 300 pages. BHAHAHAHAHAH! I am excited beyond *belief* to have these books. They’re in the stores June 1, and they’re the first mass market releases under the C.E. Murphy name, so even if they’re reprints I’m BAHAHAHAHAHH! …there are 48 copies of each. What in God’s name am I going to do with this…

funny ted

Yesterday morning at about five to seven, or possibly five to six, I half woke up and had this idea for book titles in my head. I’d even gotten a cover image (which to the best of my ability to recall even by the time I’d half woken up was “a wall of flame”, not exactly inspiring in terms of cover imagery), and I knew from experience that if I didn’t write the titles down, even though they seemed REALLY MEMORABLE just then, I wouldn’t remember them when I properly…
