Didn’t go to gaming last night. I’ve been very very tired, so instead I stayed home, watched most of Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood on TNT, and went to bed before 10pm. Just spent the last few hours reading ebear‘s HAMMERED, which was good enough to make me feel inadequate. This is normally a reaction reserved for writers like Guy Gavriel Kay and C.S. Freidman, so that’s some rather nice company. I’m convinced that Nook knows when I’m supposed to be working. I can tell, because if I sit down and decide to play a little solitaire before starting to write, one of two things happens: either I play 3 games (my limit) and get not more than one or two moves per game, or I win the second game.
