    I’m not doing NaNoWriMo, but I will be trying my hand at , partly as a challenge for myself and partly as moral support for a friend who’s doing NaNoWriMo.

  10. That’s actually what I’m doing, too, Dave. Except mine doesn’t really have a due date, which is sad. :)

  11. Oooh. I hadn’t heard of nanomango. Mmmph. If I were any sort of decent sequential artist…

    But I’m not. I can write comic scripts, though! :)

  12. That’s not at all sad, I think, and it’s the reason why this ridiculous event is such a good idea. It gives you a due date.

    Have you already begun? How much more do you need to write?

  14. I’m about 32K in. I intend to get to 40K by the end of October, and then do my damndest to finish the book in another 50-60K in November.

    Hooray for deadlines. :)

  15. But after consultation with my writing partner, I’m switching from a pure, new novel to 50k words of something else.

    Too many pots aboiling already.
