My friend Stella hit the comic shop with her 6 year old son today: Walking into Source Games, for Robin, was like walking into Paradise. A whole wall of action figures (yes, I know we grown-ups call them ‘scale models’ or ‘figurines’, but call a spade a spade, ok?) done up in Steampunkly glory. A neon SUPERMAN sign. Comic books on all the walls. So we collect comic books first, and I pretty much grab everything non-Spiderman that says “Marvel Adventures” on it, then grab 2 copies of TAKE A…

Pádraig reports copies of Chance at Forbidden Planet in Dublin. My friend Spidey is apparently going around buying up all the copies in Boston. My aunt in Santa Clara, CA called the local comic shop to see if they had it in so she could get a copy, and it was already sold out. Take A Chance: City of Heroes
If there is a such thing in the world as a comic shop that actually puts its comics out on Tuesday, today is the official launch date for Take A Chance. Really, it’s probably tomorrow, but today is technically Publication Day.
