Sadly, despite my misleading blog title, Cherie Priest is not up for auction. It’s just as well; I doubt many of us could afford a Steampunk Goddess of our own. She is, though, running a silent auction as a fundraiser for a friend of hers who’s had a run of insanely bad luck. Ooh, new Rogue figurine supposed to be out this week maybe. Very pretty! Weird pose, but very pretty. I want one! Quiet day on the old home front. not using the laptop…
…means I’m not online very much in the evenings. It’s probably good for me, but it’s a little weird. I spent the evening re-reading the second Ultimates GN. Last night Ted and I went to Harry Potter and then out for dinner. Very bizarre behavior, if you ask me. Pleasant, though. I even knitted a few rows the other night. weekend post
4th of July: We went out for Indian dinner to celebrate, on account of Columbus having been looking for India. It was a *really* good meal, yum.
