We were out for a drive the other day and had to go through a toll booth. Ted said to me “Do you have coins,” and I got a 2 euro coin and gave it to him, and he turned and threw it toward the coin basket. Captain America!
I have blogged less this month than I think I ever have. This is because I was first making fudge and then making a Captain America costume. Most of the fudge efforts have already been consumed (possibly my favourite comment: “It tastes like poetry.”), and the costume is now done. So yes. That’s what I’ve been doing. I have some vague hope of returning to more regular blogging in November. While I’m doing NNWM. #headdesk :)
Here come the brides!
And grooms! Alaska will start issuing same-sex marriage licenses at 8am this morning, after US District Circuit Judge Timothy Burgess struck down the one-woman one-man amendment to Alaska’s constitution as illegal in a ruling yesterday afternoon following a hearing on Friday. This is not only a joy to me because it’s my home state, but because I have family involved in this case. I cannot wait to see pictures from the courthouse this morning. #sniffles all over everything

We’re in America (in Upper Peninsula Michigan, which is full of motels that look like the Winchesters would stay there.
