Unpacking shoes and hair styling things is like unpacking a paean to the person I obviously wish I was. :p Nearly unworn heels, bought in a fit of I don’t even know what, except the joy of having discovered heels that were wide enough for my feet. 5:48am is too early. I’m just sayin’. The nice man who was coming to lay the carpet yesterday morning didn’t show up until 5pm. It only took him an hour to do the job, but it pretty well obliterated getting any unpacking done yesterday. We moved 3 bookshelves back into the dining room and put the table together, but otherwise, well, after that we watched Castle and Defiance. This morning a nice man is coming to put a carpet into the dining room, after which the unpacking can actually commence. Except moving the big bookcase may be beyond my ability, so possibly it won’t really commence until tonight/tomorrow after Ted gets home and can help move v. heavy things.
