The Old Races Short Story Project has been delivered to its patrons complete with a cover, patron acknowledgements, table of contents, all sorts of exciting things, in .epub and .mobi formats. And I did this one ALL BY MYSELF! …so if there are horrible mistakes, there’s no one to blame but me, which may be the down side to doing it myself. :) If you were an ORSSP patron and haven’t gotten your epub/mobi file, or need it as a PDF, email me (cemurphyauthor at gmail dot com) and let…

*laughs* Possibly the most-fun in a totally silly way thing about Twitter is that one occasionally communicates with people one has no expectation of ever communicating with. To wit: an actor I follow (the guy after whom Morrison was accidentally both named and described, actually) said “thanks for all the birthday wishes”, hence alerting me to it being his birthday. I mean, realistically, Not Right Now, because I’ve got the Dinocalypse book (you’ve bought in, right? 7 e-books for $10, how can you POSSIBLY go wrong with that?) coming up to write, and the Walker Papers to finish, and a bunch of other stuff, but still! For me, it turns out there’s an energy to direct market writing that’s different from traditional publishing–the whole…
