Recent Reads: How To Grow More Vegetables

the essential kit

I ran across this title while poking around the web for self-sufficiency zombie apocalypse sorts of things, and found it highly recommended, so I thought what the hell, and bought it.

I’m not even a gardener (though I have ambitions), and even so, this book was really just completely fascinating to read. I have no idea if everybody would find it so interesting, but wow, I’d think if you have any impulse toward (food) gardening at all, you want to read this one.

I mean, they’re selling a product, to a degree, and you can’t forget that while reading it. OTOH, they have actual step by step instructions on digging out a gardening bed, and on building a compost heap, and…really, it was just a really interesting read, which I totally didn’t expect.

  1. Which book of this title? Amazon Kindle has 2. Author? Enjoying Walker Papers immensely. Found them from short story with Jane Yellowrock. Purchased 6 Negotiator books to read after Walkers. Just finished Banshee Cries and partly through shorts when reached one noted to read after Spirit so got rest of series. Good reads. Maybe ask Amazon to include book numbers in description? Tough to figure until there are enough to list series in beginning of a book. Keep having fun. It is a treat to follow you down the rabbit hole.

    1. The 8th revision is the latest of the How To Grow More Vegetables book.

Regarding getting Amazon to list book numbers, I think you vastly overestimate how much power a publishing house, nevermind a lowly writer, has to influence how Amazon does anything. However, the series, in order, are listed in the fronts (or backs, if they’re e-books) of any given book. :)
