apples and water

Does anybody else find apples and water to be a particularly unpleasant culinary experience? Glick.

  1. Yes indeedy. There’s something about the tart-sweet of apple and the mineral-plastic-metal tang of water that do not go together. Perhaps bottled water would improve the matter. Or sprinkling the apple with lemon juice. Or adding in a few baby carrots for variety? Hmmm.

  2. I don’t think even adorning the apple, or prettying up the water would help. It’s sort of like, the water makes the apple seem all … watered down. Dunno.

  3. I think it’s just the acid/base thing, but yeah, it’s awful. *shudder* I feel like I need to brush my teeth between eating an apple and drinking water.
