The darling dorgy broke through the kiddie gate as soon as I was in a meeting and couldn’t chase her, and went upstairs and crapped on the carpet. *sigh* Good thing she’s cute. Got the stuff for the loan reinstatement for Ted’s loan. Yay us.

Well, I went through the twelve zillion pieces of paperwork and I still don’t know anything about my dental insurance, but the desk is cleaner. I emailed my HR person to see if she could tell me something useful about my dental insurance, but she hasn’t answered yet. I successfully made some choco-peanut bar cookies. It took several minutes to figure out how to make the new oven work, but wow it’s all shiny and new and pretty! And it baked the cookies without burning them to death. :) Still…

Bleh. Don’t feel good. Would call in sick, but I can’t work anyway (the server move has still got the VPN down, and there’s now no ETA for getting it fixed *sigh*), so why waste a sick day? *Tired*. Remind me to call a dentist tomorrow. We’ve outsmarted the dog, and it only took us three days. She’s been climbing over the kiddie gate since about two days after we got it (and quite handily, I might add; we watched her do it this afternoon), but cleverly, we thought to put the two tall stool/chairs we have for the kitchen bar in _front_ of the kiddie gate, and she couldn’t climb over all of it.
