So what the hell is a person supposed to do if grad school applications want letters of recommendation addressing her ‘academic preparedness’ if she hasn’t been in school for SIX YEARS? Henry suggests calling the school and asking. How practical of him.

lesser ick

It seems I was suffering from Lesser Ick, rather than Greater Ick. Probably dehydration and being overheated. This is a good thing. Sadly, Tori has Greater Ick (the flu, apparently), and so she and Jai aren’t coming over for lunch. But we’ll go to lunch this weekend or next, maybe! Yay! :)

Icky tummy. Donno if it is icky tummy from dehydration or if there is Greater Ick involved. And Jai wants to come over with Tori for lunch, and I’d love to see them, so I hope it is not Greater Ick. I will drink water and maybe that will help. Happy Angieday! So Mom’s been researching the Lee geneology, and we’re reasonably certain that we have a Richard Lee born in 1783 in North Carolina who is Ted’s great-to-the-Nth-uncle or possibly grandfather. Sadly, from the 1850 census and before, they don’t ask for names of children in the house, just ages, so it makes it harder to track back. Still, it appears that Ted’s people have been in the States a Long Darned Time! There’s a Stanford Lee who fought on the *Northern* side of the Civil War who is probably Ted’s…
