What is apparently the first item of Weight Loss Reward Clothing arrived today, as I had a moment of terrible weakness and ordered the Doctor’s Eleven t-shirt from Qwertee because I simply Could Not Resist. (Neither could Ted. We both have one now. :)) But anyway, I’d ordered the women’s large, and it is in fact a women’s large, cut differently from the men’s. So while my pudgy self would no doubt fit in it unattractively, I think I’ll stick it on the kitchen cupboard (or more likely, a printout of it) as a reminder of sorts.
Also, may I say: bonus points to Qwertee for using pre-shrunk cotton?
Anyway, since between that, the Equestrian coat, the red rockabilly dress, and the…other pinup girl dress I can’t find a picture of on the website right now…I oughta have pretty close to a new item of clothes to wear every five pounds on my way back down to the weight I want to be at. At which point all my clothes will fit, so I’ll have a whole new wardrobe. :p
On the positive side, the shirt arrived so early this morning I was inspired to do some Just Dancing before breakfast.
Thinks To Do:
– ship some books & boxes
– buy more book-shipping envelopes
– get juice
– get some decent-weight cover-letter paper
– write
– look for a big notepad
– go to bed early. :p
GREAT RASSILON. Why I am only JUST NOW finding out about this shirt?!
Did the Equestrian coat inspire the white leather coat splurge in Raven Calls?
Oh, no, the white leather coat was something I’ve been planning in the Walker Papers for years. :)
