We did have a very nice dinner Saturday night. Ted made chicken parmesan and Mom came over and that was nice. So the weekend wasn’t a total loss. I was just grumpy a lot. I just called the Alaska Student Loan people and found out that 1. my, and therefore presumably Ted’s, Alaska Student Loans have been consolidated under their new consolidation program and the new payment schedule (which actually I imagine won’t change at all) and the new payment amounts will be set sometime in the next couple days,…
mroe about burger stop
More about Burger Stop. When we saw the two lovelies with the grunt, I also ordered a sandwich I didn’t like very much. The cook, who is presumably the Tommy of “Tommy’s Burger Stop & Po-Boy Shoppe”, which is the name of the place, peeked out at me once to make sure our meals were okay (Ted was really enjoying his, at least), and I gave him (Tommy) a thumbs-up. The best line about the French *ever*, via Garrett: “It’s not true that the French are ungrateful for what the Americans did in WW2. In fact they’re so inspired by the American example that they plan to wait two years until they personally are attacked, then join the coalition and pretend the war against Saddam was all their idea.” In other news, I didn’t do any of the things yesterday that I was going to do, so they’re still all on my list of Thinks To Do today.
