quiet sunday

Quiet day Sunday. I read two books, watched two Highlander episodes (one of which was *amazingly* bad), and went to the gym. Biked for 10 minutes (2 or 3 miles?) but couldn’t take it anymore because the news channel in the cardio room kept coming back to the Columbia, and every time I looked up there was something about it on. Very pleasant evening had at the Murphy/Lee household tonight. Mom & Dad came over for dinner and we watched the extended version of Fellowship of the Rings, which definitely had some good bits that shoulda been in the movie. oh, god. no. not again. just a couple of days ago i was watching a ‘remember the challenger’ special blort on cnn. and remembering like i always do, the shock and disbelief i felt.
