Quiet day. I re-read The Blue Sword and The Hero and the Crown. I still adore both of those books unconditionally. *Man*. I don’t know how many times I’ve read them, but I could read them a hundred more times and still love them. It’d be good to write books like that. :)

Not a bad writing day, in the end. 2010 words, which is better than a kick in the teeth. Starting to approach the real meat of the story with HoS, so that’s good. Only another sixty thousand or so words to go. o.O 50K in 30 days (day 15): 24,340 ytd wordcount: 43,060

Whew. :) Spent a big old chunk of the day redesigning cemurphy.net, which works on NS7 and IE6 (and presumably IE5 although I don’t have it anymore), which doesn’t work on Opera (the layers are screwed up) and which looks like an abstract cubist painting on NS4. I’ll probably have to put up a bare bones version, but not today. I also have to finish the redesign, which is currently only on the top page, but I am, anyway, very pleased with it. Have sent chapters to Jim. Should write…
