Bed! Bed! Bed! What the photo doesn’t properly show is that the top of the mattress is square with my hipbone in height. The bed actually has little steppy things so you can get up into it, but they cost $99 each and we didn’t have that right now. :) But it’s cool! And it has under-the-bed storage! Two drawers on each side, and a Square Box on each side, and the door on the end there opens up and there’s a 6′ long empty space between the drawer sets!…

61K, 41 chapters, 323 pages, and I think I’ve still got two chapters to go. I’ve written 4400 words today and I’m trying to decide if I’m all written out for the night. I think I might be, because in order to finish I have to write at least 3K words, and if I write more, I’m likely to want to finish, and I don’t think I feel like doing 7500 words today. I went to see The Goonies today. It was pretty wonderful. :)

I liked this Harry Potter better than the first one! And if you haven’t seen it, stay all the way through the end credits, even though as far as I can tell they listed every single one of the reputed fifteen hundred individuals who worked on the film. Oh! And we left Chantico out while we went to the movie! FIVE HOURS! (Five hours because we didn’t get into the one we were going to go to and the next one didn’t start for 90 minutes, so we were gone…

2700ish words written so far today, finished ch. 37, which has been malingering, wrote 38, and am partway through 39. I have absolutely no idea how much I’ve got left. :) At least two more chapters after this, maybe, still, as many as five. I guess we’ll see. 56K words, anyway. This is going to be at least 60K long. It’d be kinda nifty to hit 60K today, but we’re going to Harry Potter later, and that’s a 2.5 hour movie. We’ll see!
