Today is the day SHAMAN RISES, last book of the Walker Papers, hits the shelves! Go forth! Buy! Enjoy! Weep!
Um. Well. Um. O.O
Seriously, I’m all big-eyed about this, because it’s the end of an era. I wrote URBAN SHAMAN in the year 2000, although it took me a while to do anything about it, but it means I’ve been working on this series for well over a decade, and to have the last book coming out…wow.

Pretty sure I’m gonna cry regardless of how the books ends. Just the thought of no more Joanne books makes me a weepy. However, all that aside…Congratulations! It’s been such a fantastic series. You wrote the one opening line in a book that still sticks with me even though it’s been 4 years since I read it.
“Someone had been chewing on the body.”

I’m so in love with this series. I just gobble them up and re listen to them again and again. I actually do the whole series in under a week.

I have gotten to listen to this whole series, and have been blown away. I am visually disabled since an accident, and since I cannot read braille Audiobooks are the only way I can read anymore. I am so horribly upset that you would withhold the final book from those of us who are incapable of reading any other way.

As far as I know, the audio version of SHAMAN RISES will be available on July 1, which is the book’s official release date.
