Ted and I went to a greasy-spoon diner in Saratoga Springs and had greasy-spoon American diner food. I had fried eggs and corned beef hash from a can. ZOMG. So. Yummy! See, it’s things like that that I can’t define missing until I have the opportunity to have them again. I mean, I knew I missed diner food, because you just can’t get it the way it’s done here, over there, and I’ve wanted some, but the corned beef hash from a can, I didn’t think of that *specifically* until…

or not… :)
When I said I was going to go write, I decided to first go lie down for a 10 minute nap. The 10 minute nap lasted an hour. When I staggered upright again, Ted announced that wisdom was the better part of valor and that I should read a book and go to bed instead of writing and going to the dead dog party. and we’re off!
No one can believe it’s only Saturday. It feels like it must be about next Tuesday by now: The Con That Never Ended. There’s a startling amount of exhaustion going around, but everybody’s in a really good mood despite that. , , Ted and I went out to dinner last night (I apparently made a lot of funny faces at , and Ted and foodgeeked a lot), and generally had a very good time, even if Michael complained about the looooooooong walk to the restaurant (it wasn’t that long. Less…
