Okay, what Sarah gave me yesterday as an idea was *exactly, *exactly* what I needed. It’s something the reader can figure out, it’s something that Jo has an IC reason for happening that doesn’t necessarily associate with the *real* reason it’s happening, it can be used in flashes and gradually get worse, it’s *perfect*. good grief

Didn’t go to the SinC meeting, but I did write a lot more. Another 1770 words or so, for a total of 3400 today, and I finished the 2nd chapter of TQB, which came in at 6400 words. 29 pages. I’ve written 2 chapters and it’s already 63 pages long! Ye gods. Best of all, though, I know what I’m doing with chapter 3! Ok, that was a *lot* of writing today. I think it’d bedtime now. ytd wordcount: 16,000

Tired. Only got 700 words written this morning, ’cause I got kind of stuck, but I talked to Sarah about the stuckness and she had a REALLY GOOD IDEA which will get me through it, so I’ll try to sit down and write my other 400 words at lunch. this makes me feel better

My editor, Matrice, on the amount of romance that they’re looking for in the Luna books: The romantic levels in the LUNA titles do vary a lot–and that’s just how we want them. In some cases it’s stronger and in some cases less so. For an ongoing series, in particular, there can be more of a “potential”–for a stand-alone title, there should be a stronger connection.
