almost there!
I’m working on revisions for STONE’S THROE, and have successfully revised the opening chapters into vast improvement. Better yet, though (because I’d always known what I needed to do with those chapter), I’ve figured out what I need to do to fix the other problematic part of the book, and am now proceeding to do that. I’m all curious how many readers here actually participated in the Kickstarter to get this (it was the Spirit of the Century project 2 years ago, and how many are waiting to buy it…

I have received coloring books from Ellen Million and the Digger omnibus from Ursula Vernon/Sofawolf Press! I’m going to have to get good colored pencils for the coloring books, which have finely detailed images that you can’t go at with a crayon. :) Awww! The Fantastrix coloring book’s second page is Roses, the illustration Ellen did for my YA novel RIGHT ANGLES TO FAIRYLAND. How cool, I get to color it! :) Bahaha. If you’ll recall, a couple of years ago I wrote a delighted and relieved report regarding my friend Chrysoula Tzavelas‘s first book, MATCHBOX GIRLS, which I really loved. Her second book, INFINITY KEY, also out from the small press that did Matchbox Girls, has just launched its Kickstarter for the print edition. I read INFINITY KEY a couple of weeks ago and, this time, expected a terrific book rather than going in with the trepidation of reading a friend’s novel and hoping it would be good.
